This is a very sorrowful piece, especially with the way the main character walks with his head down and the arms in the pockets. Of course being that's the stock you had available, it still adds an amazing impact to the emotion. The light source is a bit backwards being where the light is in the clouds versus the shadow of the figure. The zombies look a bit large in the background versus the the lines in the road, but that can be easily fixed (I hope). I think what really pulls this piece off nicely is the ring of light surrounding the main figure. It comes across me as "the last candle burning" feeling, which is a sad feeling for me. The emotion is incredibly portrayed and the idea is original, or at least I haven't seen anything like this before. I can really see this as a CD cover or a movie poster. A good clean Manipulation!
