Crowds and an unknown engagement

So, due to Canada Day events, I and my brother drove my Mom down to Brampton, and since we were down, we visited some of our old friends. It was fun, but I realized something today.

I hate crowds.

I literally get panicky, fidget, and feel slightly emotional when there are too many people around. I blame my Xbox, and my laptop, frankly. But onto the more interesting part.

My second best guy friend (who is 19) is engaged. ...And apparently has been for about 4 months. I mean, sure, we've been out of touch for a while, but WOW.

He expected my brother (whom is his best friend) to tell us (being my parents and myself, but he neglected to do so). Still, I would have appreciated some sort of personal message.

One good thing did come out of seeing him again, though. We got to talk about a lot of the things that went on between us before his 'fiancee' came into his life.

...is it bad that everyone who knows her doesn't like her? EVEN my friend that's engaged to her?
